Overview Introduction

Mobile proxies use real 4G/5G mobile network connections, providing the highest trust level for platforms that actively detect datacenter or residential IPs. Perfect for social media and app automation.

Step 1 What Makes Mobile Proxies Special

Mobile proxies offer unique advantages:

  • Carrier-Grade NAT: IPs are shared by many real users, making blocks rare
  • High Trust: Platforms expect traffic from mobile networks
  • IP Rotation: Automatic rotation simulates natural mobile behavior
  • Real Device Fingerprints: Authentic mobile network signatures
ℹ️
Note: Mobile proxy IPs are typically shared by thousands of real mobile users, making them extremely hard to block.

Step 2 Your Mobile Proxy Dashboard

After purchasing mobile proxies, you'll see them in the Mobile Proxies section:

  • Status: Active/Expired/Cancelled
  • Connection String: Your proxy endpoint details
  • Auth Credentials: Username and password
  • Country: The mobile network location
  • Expires: Your subscription end date

Step 3 Connection Details

Mobile proxies use dedicated ports per subscription:

BASH
# Your connection format
Host: mobile.fusionproxy.net
Port: (shown in dashboard, unique to your subscription)
Username: (from dashboard)
Password: (from dashboard)

# Example cURL
curl -x http://mobile.fusionproxy.net:YOUR_PORT \
     -U "your_auth_user:your_auth_pass" \
     https://api.ipify.org

Step 4 IP Rotation Options

Mobile proxies support different rotation modes:

ModeDescriptionBest For
Auto-RotateNew IP every few minutesGeneral automation
Sticky SessionSame IP for specified timeAccount management
Manual RotateChange IP on demand via APIControlled workflows

Step 5 Triggering Manual Rotation

Use the rotation endpoint to get a new IP:

BASH
# Rotate via dashboard API
POST /api/mobile-proxies/{id}/rotate

# Or use the rotation link (if provided)
curl -X POST "https://dashboard.fusionproxy.net/api/mobile-proxies/123/rotate" \
     -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
πŸ’‘
Tip: Check your dashboard for proxy-specific rotation endpoints and limits.

Step 6 Best Practices for Social Media

When using mobile proxies for social platforms:

  • Use sticky sessions (30-60 minutes) for each account session
  • Match the proxy country to your account's claimed location
  • Don't switch accounts too rapidly on the same IP
  • Respect platform rate limits and ToS
⚠️
Warning: Using proxies doesn't exempt you from platform terms of service. Always use proxies responsibly.

Step 7 Editing Proxy Settings

You can modify your mobile proxy configuration:

  1. Find your proxy in the Mobile Proxies list
  2. Click the edit (pencil) icon
  3. Update the label or settings
  4. Save changes

Summary Conclusion

Mobile proxies are your best choice when you need the highest level of trust and the lowest chance of blocks. They're especially effective for social media, e-commerce, and any platform with aggressive bot detection.
